Explorer Kids
Terms and conditions
These terms explain how adults use the Explorer Kids web account, digital Explorer-Packs and gifts.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Provider, scope and adults
Explorer Kids is a digital service provided by Linkease LLC. The provider is LinkEase LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, represented by Björn Boy. Contact: support@explorerkids.app. These terms cover the Explorer Kids web account, digital Explorer-Packs and gifts. An adult must operate the account and handle purchasing, redemption and age-appropriate supervision. The privacy notice explains data processing; acknowledging it is not blanket consent.
Digital Explorer-Packs
An Explorer-Pack is a digital card set containing discovery missions. The product description before purchase explains its scope, available sets and technical requirements. Packaging and cards shown on the website are digital representations; physical delivery is not included. Planned sets and features in development are labelled and are not included in a purchase unless expressly offered as part of that product.
Accounts and assignment
Provide accurate information and protect your sign-in details. Signing in with Apple or Google may create a new Explorer Kids account. Use the intended shared account in the app and website. Matching email addresses alone do not automatically merge different accounts or existing purchases. Unlocked sets and remaining unlocks are assigned on the server. If an existing purchase is missing, contact support before deleting or switching accounts.
Purchasing, prices and fulfilment
Only purchases explicitly offered as available can be completed. The checkout shows the product, final price, currency, taxes and payment terms before a binding payment. Web purchases use Stripe Managed Payments and appear as “Sold through Link” at checkout. Stripe Managed Payments acts as merchant of record for the transaction; this does not make Stripe the provider of Explorer Kids content. LinkEase LLC remains the provider and seller of the digital product. The terms shown at checkout also apply to payment handling and transaction support. LinkEase LLC provides the account, content and product support. Unlocks and gift issuance follow confirmed payment. Registering does not turn a one-off purchase into a subscription. Purchases through an app store are also subject to that store’s purchase terms.
A simple purchase and immediate access
For your own Explorer-Packs, sign in to your Explorer Kids account or create one. Use the same account on the website and in the app. Payment takes place in an embedded Stripe payment form. Only the clearly labelled final payment confirmation there places a binding order; signing in or opening checkout alone does not buy anything. If a single, specifically selected Explorer-Pack is to be supplied immediately, an initially unchecked statement asks for immediate supply and acknowledgement of the possible loss of the statutory cancellation right. Its wording, version, language, order reference and acceptance time are recorded and included in the related confirmation. Rights under the Link terms and remedies for faulty content are unaffected. Gifts, later set choices and bundles with sets still to be selected are not subject to a blanket immediate-delivery waiver.
Giving and redeeming gifts
A gift contains the number of digital unlocks specified at purchase. The receiving family chooses from Explorer-Packs available to redeem; a set already assigned to an account is not unlocked twice. The buyer receives the voucher and gives it privately as a link or printout. No email is automatically sent to the family. An optional signature and message appear on the gift. Keep the link and code private: a holder can view the gift. Only separately confirmed redemption assigns it to the signed-in account. Opening, scanning, printing or signing in does not redeem it. Repeated redemption must not create additional unlocks.
Content use and mission safety
Purchased content is for private family use. Do not resell, publicly distribute or reproduce it in bulk without permission; legally permitted uses are unaffected. Before each mission, adults must assess age, ability, surroundings, weather and materials. Provide supervision appropriate to the task, especially near water or traffic, with tools or during experiments. Follow local rules and do not harm animals, plants, property or people. The content does not replace professional or medical advice.
International use and cancellation
Explorer Kids serves families in different countries. Your choice of website language does not determine which mandatory consumer law applies. Rights under applicable law remain available. Where a statutory cancellation right applies to digital content, payment or describing a product as digital does not by itself remove that right. Ending it early when content is supplied immediately requires the applicable express consent, acknowledgement, confirmation and commencement of supply. General acceptance of these terms does not replace those steps. Sending a gift voucher is not automatically treated as using or fully supplying the Explorer-Packs chosen later. Remedies for faulty products and other mandatory refund rights remain unaffected. The Sold through Link Terms also apply to web purchases. They provide consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom with a 14-day cooling-off period from access to or delivery of the purchased product. A request can be sent to Link Customer Support using the steps described there, with “cooling off period” as the reason. These terms do not restrict those Link provisions.
Problems, refunds and statutory rights
Contact support@explorerkids.app about technical issues, incorrect assignments or gifts. For web purchases, Link provides receipts and payment-related support. The applicable Stripe Managed Payments refund policy remains in effect and is not limited by a more restrictive policy of our own. Mandatory consumer rights, including remedies for defective digital products and any applicable withdrawal rights, remain available. Creating an account or viewing a gift does not, by itself, waive a right of withdrawal. If immediate digital delivery requires separate acknowledgements, these must be obtained correctly before the relevant purchase. A confirmed refund may cancel related unused unlocks or the gift; already-assigned or partially refunded cases are reviewed.
Ending an account and changes
You may sign out at any time and request account deletion through support. We check identity and consider outstanding service, retention and payment records. Deleting an account does not cancel a separately purchased subscription. Updated terms are dated; changes to existing contracts follow applicable law. These terms do not limit mandatory statutory claims or liability or remove consumers’ rights under applicable law.
