- Choose two items with whole-number pretend prices from one to five. Match each price to the same number of paper coins.
- Build one basket while your grown-up builds another. Count together and point to the basket that fits.
- Read three real price labels with help. Check whether each label means one item or a packet.
- Add the cost of two items. Work out what is left from your agreed budget for each basket.
- Compare two equal-sized offers, or use a clearly shown unit price with adult help. State when a comparison would be unfair.
- Make two plans that serve the same number of people. Explain why the cheapest checkout total may not be your best plan.

- A market or shop with visible prices, or three food packages at home
- Paper and pencil
- An adult-set pretend budget in local currency

Activities are written for three age groups: 5–6, 7–8 and 9–10. Children can explore the same topic with different challenges.
Are these printed cards?
No. You buy a digital Explorer-Pack for the Explorer Kids app. The building, observing and experimenting happen in real life.
Which languages are included?
The three existing Explorer-Packs include content in English, German and Spanish.
